Akemi 1 Liter Darkener Super is a ready-to-use, solvent-based impregnation with reactive modified siloxanes. It is absorbed by the pores via the capillary forces of the stone. The catalytic process produces polysiloxane. In addition, a reaction with the stone's siliceous component occurs.

Specification
:
Product Type: Nano Sealer
Brand: Generic ( Made in India )
Quantity : 1 Liter
Application Area : Fine ground and polished absorbent natural and artificial stone, e.g. marble, slate, solnhofer lime stone, sandstone, granite, gneiss, concrete ashlar or quartz surfaces.
Storage : If stored in dry and cool condition (5-25°C/41-77°F) in its closed original container at least 24 months from production.
Applications
:
For the treatment of fine grind and polished absorbent natural and artificial stone, such as marble, slate, Solnhofer lime stone, sandstone, granite, gneiss, concrete ashlar, or quartz. The product is most suited to dark and black absorbent stones (such as Nero Assoluto, Impala black, Galaxy, and Zimbabwe black). Damaged areas, such as hairline cracks, can be treated with Akemi darkener super. As a result, the surface appears homogeneous. Color improvement on silicate-based stones has very good longevity, as does color enhancement on lime-based stones.
Usage
:
Cleaning: The surface must be clean, completely dry, and free of any residue. Outdoors, ensure that the stone does not contain any harmful salts (nitrates, sulphates, or chlorides), as they can reduce the absorption of the impregnating agent. Depending on the type of stone and the degree of soiling, the following Akemi products can be advised; please refer to our care recommendations and Technical Data Sheets: Stone cleaner, concrete film remover, rust remover, algae and moss remover, wax stripper, paste for oil and grease removal, and graffiti remover. Always rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning. Before receiving its protective coating, the stone must be completely dry. Typically, this occurs after 1 - 2 days at most. The ideal operating temperature is 15-25°C. Protect from rain for approximately 24 hours. The surface should not be warmed by underfloor heating or solar rays.
Apply undiluted using a brush, mop, or spraying equipment. Apply a thin, smooth layer and allow enough time for the substance to permeate into the stone.
When the product begins to dry, approximately 10 - 15 minutes after application, apply it again evenly or completely remove the excess with an absorbent towel.
Multiple wet-in-wet treatments may be required on very absorbent surfaces.
Tools can be cleaned with Akemi nitro-dilution.
For routine cleaning, use Akemi stone soap or Akemi crystal clean.
Note :
Disregarding the processing guidelines can lead to irreparable damage.
Special notes :
For professional use only.
Special precautions should be used during spraying to avoid the development of aerosols and potential hazards to third parties. Avoid breathing vapours (use a protective mask).
Seal the stone's rear and lateral sides to prevent rising moisture from penetrating it. In this case, we propose using Akemi Anti-Stain Coating 2015 to seal the reverse side and lateral surfaces.
Not recommended for glazed or non-absorbent surfaces.
Polished surfaces should be repolished until the haze is totally eliminated. The degree of colour intensification varies depending on the type of stone.
The deepening effect on dark stones is more intense than on lighter stones.
Testing on a sample area is advised.
Use AKEMI® Impregnation Remover to remove improperly applied product.
Use Afin Liquid Glove to protect your hands.
Protect all solvent-sensitive areas (e.g., synthetic materials, rubber, lacquered parts).- Protect all solvent-sensitive areas (e.g., synthetic materials, rubber, lacquered parts).
If treated with AKEMI® Darkener Super, the stone-imminent structures on some natural stones, such as Nero Assoluto or Nero Impala, may become more intense than the remaining stone surface. Although this may appear to be staining, the color intensification is caused by the stone's natural features and not a product problem.
To properly dispose of waste, empty the container fully. Recycling should follow EU Decision 97/129 criteria.
EC on Packaging Directive 94/62/EC.
