Description
A shallow well jet pump is a type of centrifugal water pump specifically designed for pumping water from shallow wells. Shallow well jet pumps operate by creating suction to draw water from the well through an inlet pipe. To install a shallow well jet pump, it needs to be connected to inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring that all pipes and the pump itself are filled with water before operation. The motor is then plugged into an electrical outlet or wired to a breaker panel. Once powered on, the pump will run automatically until it reaches the preset pressure level or runs out of water.
