Solar Universe India 12V - 20Amps with LED Display and 9V USB Output MPPT Solar Charge Controller for Indoor Use
Descriptions :
A Solar Charge Controller also known as a Solar Regulator or Converter, is basically a solar battery charger connected between the solar panels and battery.
Its job is to regulate the battery charging process and ensure the battery is charged correctly, or more importantly, not over-charged or under-charged.
These are used in almost all small-scale off-grid solar power systems involving battery banks and are primarily used to efficiently charge battery banks via Solar Panels with the added advantages of making it hybrid or a management unit as well (based on the model purchased by you). MPPT stands for Maximum Power Point Tracker.
These are far more superior than PWM charge controllers and enable the Solar Panel to operate at its maximum power point, or to be more precise, the optimum voltage and current for maximum power output. Using this smart technology, MPPT solar charge controllers can be up to 30% more efficient, depending on the battery voltage and operating voltage of the Solar Panel.
This particular model is a 12V - 20A Solar Charge Controller which can support up to 250W Solar Panels with VOC of up to 21V that is used for recharging a 12V battery bank of lead acid or lithium type.
It comes with LED Display, Multiple Protections and 5 Stage Charging. Besides regulating the fluctuation, MPPT solar charge controller continually tracks the PV voltage for adequate solar panel functioning. MPPT helps overcome atmospheric challenges (such as weather, season, temperature, etc.) by supervising and adjusting the current rate digitally.
