Akemi 2.25 Kg Akepox 5010 Komponente A and B is a gel-like, solvent-free, two-component glue based on an epoxy resin with a cyclicaliphatic polyamine hardener.
Features
:
Neutral color
Low yellowing tendency
Easy dosage and mixing using cartridge system.
High creeping strength because of the gel-like consistency.
There is extremely little shrinking during the hardening process, so-low tension in the bonding layer.
Weather-resistant bonding and easy coloration with Akepok Pastes or Concentrates.
The adhesive has outstanding dimensional stability, minimal fatigue, and excellent alkali stability, making it ideal for bonding concrete.
Ideal for bonding gases.-impermeable materials because it's a solvent.
Suitable for bonding solvent-sensitive materials such as expanded polystyrene (ABS).

Instructions of use :
A. Products in Cans
Thoroughly clean and roughen the surfaces to be bonded.
Thoroughly combine 2 parts (volume or weight) of component A and 1 part (volume or weight) of component B until a uniform shade of color is attained.
Akepok colouring pastes or concentrates can be added at a maximum of 5%.
The combination is workable for around 20-30 minutes (20°C). The bonded pieces can be moved after approximately 6-8 hours (20°C), and after 12-16 hours (20°C), they can be processed further. Maximum stability after 7 days at 20°C.
Tools can be cleaned using Akemi nitro-dilution.
Heat accelerates the hardening process, while cold delays it.
B. Cartridge System
Thoroughly clean and roughen the surfaces to be bonded thoroughly.
Remove the clasp from the cartridge and insert it into the cannon, work the grip until material emerges from both apertures, then screw up the mixing nozzle.
Akepok colouring pastes or colouring concentrates can be applied up to 5%.
When operating without a mixing nozzle, ensure that both components are thoroughly blended.
The combination is usable for around 20-30 minutes (20°C). After approximately 6-8 hours (20°C), the bonded portions can be moved. They can be further treated after approximately 12-16 hours (20°C). Maximum stability after 7 days at 20°C.
The tools can be cleaned with Akemi nitro-dilution.
Heat accelerates the hardening process, while cold delays it.
Special notes :
Suitable for bonding load-bearing building elements; nevertheless, the applicable requirements, such as DIN 18516 part 1 and part 3 or DIN 2304, must be followed during application.
Only by maintaining the optimum mixing ratio can optimal mechanical and chemical qualities be achieved. A surplus of adhesive or hardener acts as a softener, causing discoloration in the marginal zone.
Single mix cartridges are not appropriate for compressed-air weapons or those with mechanical pistons.
