Short Description
Automatic Oil Filter Press (Standard),
100-120 Liters Per Hour Production Capacity
Country of origin: India
Description
The Oil filter press machine is an essential piece of equipment in the oil production industry, particularly for the purification of edible oils. Its primary function is to remove impurities and solid particles from extracted oil, ensuring that the final product is of high quality and safe for consumption. The operation of an oil filter press involves several key steps and components, which are crucial for its efficiency and effectiveness. The filtering capacity is around 50 to 70 liters per hour making this machine perfectly suitable for commercial usage.
Features
:
Design and Construction : The Oil filter press is typically constructed with robust materials such as stainless steel and mild steel to withstand high pressures and corrosive environments.
Filtration Process : The machine operates by applying pressure to the mixture of oil and solid particles. This pressure forces the liquid through filter cloths or membranes while retaining the solid particles on the surface.
Efficiency : One of the primary features is their efficiency in separating solids from liquids, which results in high-quality filtered oil with minimal impurities.
Ease of Maintenance : Oil filter presses are designed for easy maintenance, with accessible components that facilitate cleaning and replacement of filter cloths when necessary.

Usage
:
Step 1: Preparation
Clean the Machine : Before using the filter press, ensure that all components are clean. Any residue from previous uses can contaminate the oil.
Inspect the Filter Plates : Check for any damages or wear. Replace any damaged plates to ensure optimal performance.
Step 2: Setup
Position the Machine : Place the filter press on a stable surface away from any water source or direct sunlight.
Connect the Pump : Attach the pump to the inlet of the filter press. Ensure that all connections are secure to avoid leaks.
Step 3: Loading the Oil
Fill the Oil Tank : Pour the unfiltered oil into the oil tank connected to the pump.
Check for Air Leaks : Ensure there are no air leaks in the system that might affect the pressure during operation.
Step 4: Operation
Start the Pump : Turn on the pump to begin circulating the oil into the filter press.
Apply Pressure : Activate the hydraulic system to apply pressure to the filter plates. This pressure forces the oil through the plates, where it will be filtered.
Monitor the Process : Keep an eye on the flow rate and pressure readings. Adjust the hydraulic pressure as necessary to maintain efficient filtration without overloading the plates.
Step 5: Collecting Filtered Oil
Check the Outlet : Once the oil has been filtered, it will exit through the outlet port. Collect the filtered oil in a clean container.
Inspect Filter Residue : After completing the filtration process, check the residue on the filter plates. This will give you an idea of the impurities removed.
Maintenance :
Clean the Machine : After every batch operation, clean the press plates, filter cloths, and surrounding areas to prevent buildup of residue.
Lubrication : Weekly lubricate moving parts according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Use the correct type of lubricant to avoid contamination.
Check Electrical Components : Inspect electrical connections, controls, and indicators for any signs of wear or malfunction.
Professional Inspection : Schedule a comprehensive inspection by a qualified technician to assess the condition of the machine. This includes checking all mechanical and electrical components.
Applications
:
Food Industry : In the production of edible oils such as olive oil, sunflower oil, and canola oil, oil filter presses are utilized to remove impurities like sediment and suspended solids from crude oil. This purification process enhances the quality and safety of the final product, making it suitable for consumption.
Cosmetics : The cosmetic industry employs oil filter presses to refine oils used in skincare products. By filtering out impurities, these machines ensure that the oils are safe and effective for use in creams, lotions, and other beauty products.
Waste Oil Recycling : The filter press is pivotal in the recycling of waste oils, separating valuable oil from sludge and other unwanted materials. This process not only conserves resources but also mitigates environmental impacts associated with oil waste.
