Description
ALSTASAN II 256 is a scientifically formulated blend of Fourth Generation Quaternary Ammonium Compounds, surfactants, and stabilizers that, when applied, completely eliminates bacteria, viruses, and sporicidal pathogens while demonstrating sustained anti-viral action on applied surface areas of residential, commercial, industrial, and public environments.
The fourth generation, also known as "Twin or Dual Chain quats" or quaternary "twin chain," has superior germicidal activity, minimal foaming, non-toxicity, high tolerance to protein loading and hard water, anionic residue tolerance, and is suggested for disinfection against enveloped (lipophilic) viruses.
Quaternaries are often employed in everyday environmental sanitation of non-critical surfaces, wet mopping, spraying, and cleaning of hard surfaces such as the floor, walls, wooden counter tops, furniture, ceramics, metal surfaces, foot dip bath, etc.

Dosage :
Sanitation by Mopping :
Dilution Ratio : 40ml per 10 liters of water, depending on the degree of soiling/infection spread.
Sanitation by Spraying method :
- Method of Spraying : Atomized Pressure.
- Dilution Ratio : 40ml per 10 Litres water.
- Coverage : 250 square feet each iteration of solution. Sprayed with a minimum contact time of 5 minutes. For every one lakh square feet of open space, 400 liters of Alstasan II 256 will be required for a month of spraying and cleaning.
- Post spray : Rinsing after disinfection may be unnecessary because the product leaves a fresh aroma following application. When wet spraying, use a wiper to remove any excess water.
Shoe dip is suitable for all plants and facilities in the pharmaceutical, food, and beverage industries. The diluting ratio is as follows : 40 ml per 10 liters of water.
Aerial Fumigation :
Method of Fogging : Use a ULV Fogging Machine for affected or vital areas.
The diluting ratio is 20 ml per 1 Litre of water.
Note : Do not use on electronics, open circuits, or equipment.
Handling Measures :
- When handling and applying chemicals, wear appropriate safety equipment such as splash goggles and gloves.
- Splashes on the skin should be wiped off quickly with water.
- If splashing occurs in the eyes, immediately flush with fresh water and seek medical attention.
- Should not be injected.
Storage :
ALSTASAN II 256 should be stored in its original containers in a cool, dry location away from heat, direct sunlight, and alkalis. When properly stored, the shelf life is two years.

Note :
ALSTASAN II 256 has a high surfactant content and can work with a small amount of ambient dust. If the surface is stained with fat, oil, or oily material, or if it appears to be exceedingly dirty, a surfactant-based cleanser should be used first. There is no need to rinse with water after application, unless the surface requires additional treatment or coating. All food-contact surfaces should be washed with potable water.
