Short Description
Electric Milk Cream Separator
60 LPH, Stainless Steel Build
8 Litres Tank
Country of origin: India
Description
A Milk Cream Separator, as the name suggests, is a device used to ‘separate’ cream from whole milk, dividing the whole milk into Skim Milk and Cream. Cream and skim milk have dissimilar densities, and therefore under the impact of gravity, they tend to get separated. A separator is a centrifugal device which is used for separating milk into cream and skimmed milk. Separation of cream and skimmed milk using the electric milk cream separator is a very efficient and cost effective process due to which many small households and businesses rely on this machine for the cream separation process.

Usage
:
The operation of a cream separator relies on centrifugal force to separate the components of milk. When whole milk enters the rapidly revolving bowl containing a set of disks in the separator, thin films of milk are generated between the disks. The heavier skim milk is thrown to the outer edge of the bowl due to centrifugal force, while the cream concentrates in the interior and moves up to the cream outlet near the center of the bowl.
The process of cream separation using a milk cream separator involves creating centrifugal force equivalent to thousands of times normal gravity on the whole milk passing through conical disks spinning at high speeds within a drum or bowl. This force causes fat globules to move towards the center of the drum while skim milk moves towards the outer sides, facilitating effective separation.
In summary, a milk cream separator is an essential machine in dairy processing that efficiently separates cream from whole milk using centrifugal force, enabling precise control over fat content in dairy products.
