Inserting into Soil : Push down firmly on the handle of the transplanter until it penetrates into the soil at least 4-6 inches deep (or as required based on plant size). This depth allows for adequate root placement without damaging existing roots in nearby areas.
Creating a Hole : Once inserted, gently pull the lever of transplanter slightly while pulling it out of the ground.
Backfilling : After placing your seedling in position, use your fingers or a small hand trowel to backfill around it with soil. Gently press down to eliminate air pockets but avoid compacting too tightly as this can hinder root growth.
