3. Add the Ingredients : Place the soaked and drained ingredients into the grinding drum. If the recipe calls for water, add it progressively during grinding until you reach the desired consistency.
4. Start the Grinding Process : Plug in the grinder and turn it on. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding power settings.
5. Check Consistency : Periodically stop the grinder and check the consistency of the batter. Scrape down the sides with a spatula to incorporate all ingredients, if necessary.
6. Finish Grinding : The grinding process can take different time for different materials, depending on the quantity and type of ingredients. As the grinding progresses, you will notice a change in sound and texture, indicating that the ingredients are being processed well.
7. Tilt and Dispense : Once you achieve the desired consistency, tilt the drum to pour out the batter. The tilting feature is particularly useful for easy transfer to another container. Just be cautious of the weight and angle to avoid spills.
8. Cleaning the Grinder :
Detach Accessories : Remove any detachable parts.
Wash Thoroughly : Rinse the drum and stones with warm water. Avoid using soap, as it can affect the taste of future batters.
Dry Completely : Ensure all parts are dried properly before reassembling to prevent rusting.
Applications
:

Preparing Pastes : In addition to batters, table top wet grinders are excellent for making pastes from spices and herbs. This includes preparing masalas (spice mixes), chutneys, and curry pastes.
Mixing Ingredients : Some users utilize wet grinders for mixing various ingredients together before cooking. For example, they can mix soaked grains with spices or other ingredients to create a homogenous mixture ready for cooking.
