Short Description
Made in India Table Top Wet Grinder With Copper Winding Motor ABS Material & Stainless Steel 2 Roller Stones, Coconut Scrapper & Atta Kneader
Country of origin: India
Description
A Wet grinder consists of granite stones rotating inside a metal drum with the help of an electric motor. In the drum, food grains are crushed in between stones. Conical or round grinding stones can be found in contemporary wet grinders. Compared to electric mixers or blenders, wet grinders offer a few advantages. Compared to a mixer, a stone grinder releases less heat, and heat may affect the flavor of food. In comparison with mixers that chop food into tiny pieces, a wet grinder crushes the food, giving it an unique consistency.

Usage
:
1. Prepare Ingredients : Soak your grains or lentils for a few hours (usually 4-8 hours) before grinding. Ingredients like rice and urad dal for dosa batter should be soaked together.
2. Setup the Wet Grinder : Place the Grinder on a stable surface, ensure your table top wet grinder is on a flat, stable surface to prevent vibrations during operation.
3. Add the Ingredients : Place the soaked and drained ingredients into the grinding drum. If the recipe calls for water, add it progressively during grinding until you reach the desired consistency.
4. Start the Grinding Process :Plug in the grinder and turn it on. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding power settings.
5. Check Consistency : Periodically stop the grinder and check the consistency of the batter. Scrape down the sides with a spatula to incorporate all ingredients, if necessary.
6. Finish Grinding :The grinding process can take different time for different materials, depending on the quantity and type of ingredients. As the grinding progresses, you will notice a change in sound and texture, indicating that the ingredients are being processed well.
7. Serve and Clean : Switch off the grinder upon achieving the desired grinding results and unplug it from the power source. Carefully detach the drum from the base. Use a spatula to scrape out the batter, ensuring you get every bit.
8. Cleaning the Grinder :
Detach Accessories : Remove any detachable parts.
Wash Thoroughly : Rinse the drum and stones with warm water. Avoid using soap, as it can affect the taste of future batters.
Dry Completely : Ensure all parts are dried properly before reassembling to prevent rusting.
Applications
:
Making Batters : Wet grinders are particularly effective for creating smooth batters required for various South Indian dishes. For instance, they can be used to prepare the batter for dosas (fermented crepes made from rice and lentils) and idlis (steamed rice cakes).
