This combo set includes an 185W monocrystalline 12V solar panel and a 12V-20amp microcontroller-based solar charge controller. The Solar Panel, composed of high-efficiency poly cells with a tedlar backsheet and an aluminum frame, may be used to recharge all types of 12V batteries, while the Solar Charge Controller, which has several protections, functions as a bridge between the Solar Panel and the 12V Battery to offer the best results. The controller has a smart tracking algorithm that maximizes the energy harvest from the PV and also provides load control to prevent over discharge of the battery. The Solar Charge Controller provides several levels of protection. Solar Charger Controller prevents reverse current flow from the battery to the solar array, provides load short circuit protection, battery/panel reverse protection via a DC fuse, and overload protection as well. Most ideal for 12V batteries with capacities up to 160ah, which are often used in off-grid systems, villages, security rooms, computer rooms, farm houses, and by street vendors.
