Securing Loads : They are used to tightly secure items on pallets or in boxes, preventing movement during transport.
Bundling Products : Tensioners help bundle multiple items together for easier handling and storage.
Enhancing Stability : By applying tension to the straps, they enhance the stability of the load, reducing the risk of damage.
Facilitating Shipping : They are essential in logistics for preparing goods for shipment, ensuring that products arrive safely at their destination.
Usage
:
Threading the Strap : Thread the free end of the strap through the back of the tensioner tool, allowing approximately 3 inches of overhang from the front of the tool.
Wrapping the Strap : Wrap the strap around the load that you want to secure.
Continuing Threading :Take the end of the strap still attached to the coil and thread it through the cutter blade and then through the windlass of the tensioner.
Tensioning :Use the tension handle on the tool to tighten until you reach your desired tension level.
Seal Placement : Place a seal on both straps at the front of the tool.
Engaging and Crimping Seal : Open the sealer, engage it with both straps, and then close it to crimp the seal securely.
Cutting Excess Strap : Squeeze the handle of the sealer, which will automatically cut any excess strap away.
Removing Tool : Finally, remove the tool.
Maintenance :
Regular Cleaning : After each use, clean the tensioner to remove any debris or plastic strap remnants. Use a soft brush and cloth to avoid scratching the surface.
Inspection : Regularly inspect the tensioner for signs of wear or damage. Check for cracks in the housing, worn-out rollers, or any loose components that may affect performance.
