The Commercial 1 HP Oil Filter Machine is used for carrying out the oil filtration process upon following a series of steps. This machine basically removes the impurities and sediments present in the oil, ensuring the production of high quality oil suitable for consumption. This machine operates through a series of steps, including pre-treatment, filtration, collection of impurities and obtaining purified oil. This machine has a working pressure of 5 Bar and it consists of 14 pieces of filter plates and has a filtration capacity of 80-90 litres per hour. The machine is designed to withstand heavy duty usage which makes it perfectly suitable for commercial usage.

Usage
:1. Preparation of the Machine :
- Inspect the Equipment : Before starting, check all components of the oil filter press for any visible damage or wear. Ensure that the plates are clean and free from any residual materials.
- Set Up the Power Supply : Connect the machine to an appropriate power source, ensuring that it matches the specifications required for a 1 HP motor.
2. Assembly :
- Install Filter Cloths : Place tailored filter cloths over each plate in the press. Secure them tightly to prevent leaks during operation.
- Position Plates : Stack the plates together, ensuring they are aligned properly to form chambers for oil filtration.
3. Feeding Oil into the Machine :
- Prepare Raw Materials : Ensure that the oil-bearing seeds or nuts (such as soybean, groundnuts, or sunflower seeds) are cleaned and pre-processed if necessary (e.g., mechanically expressed).
- Check the Feeding Pump : Check the feeding pump whether it's properly able to feed oil through the filter cloths or not.
4. Operation :
- Start the Motor : Turn on the motor of the filter press machine. This will activate the hydraulic system that operates the pressing mechanism.
- Feed Oil Continuously : Begin feeding oil into the machine gradually while monitoring pressure levels. The liquid will flow through the filter cloths, separating impurities and suspended solids from clean oil.
5. Monitoring Filtration Process :
- Check Pressure Gauges : Regularly monitor pressure gauges during operation to ensure they remain within safe limits.
- Observe Output Quality : Collect filtered oil from petcocks provided at the bottom of each plate chamber and check its clarity and quality.
6. Post-Operation Procedures :
- Stop Feeding Oil : Once you have collected enough filtered oil or when you notice a drop in output quality, stop feeding more oil into the machine.
- Clean Up Residual Cake : After stopping, open up the plates carefully to remove any residual cake (the solid material left after filtration). This can be done manually or with assistance from a plate shifter if available.
Maintenance :
- Filter Plates and Cloths : After each use, clean the filter plates and cloths to remove any residual oil or sludge. This prevents clogging and ensures effective filtration in subsequent operations.
- Exterior Cleaning : Keep the exterior of the machine clean to prevent dust accumulation that could interfere with mechanical parts.
- Lubrication : Ensure that all moving parts are well-lubricated according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Use appropriate lubricants to minimize wear and tear on components such as bearings, gears, and hydraulic systems.
- Regular Inspection : Regularly inspect critical components such as hydraulic cylinders, pumps, seals, and hoses for signs of wear or damage. Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately to avoid operational failures.
