Preheat the Tawa : Turn on the burners and let the tawa (griddle) heat up evenly. Ensure the temperature is high enough for proper cooking but not too hot to burn the batter.
Oil the Surface : Apply a thin layer of oil or ghee on the tawa to prevent sticking.
Pour the Batter : Pour a ladle of dosa batter onto the center of the tawa and spread it in a circular motion.
Cook the Dosa : Let the dosa cook on one side until the edges start to lift. Optionally, flip it for a crispy texture.
Serve : Once crispy and golden brown, remove the dosa using a spatula and serve with chutney and sambar.
Clean After Use : Once the tawa cools down, clean it to remove any residual batter or food particles.
